Barad Story

Barad is a village located in the northern of Aleppo city, rich in her Olive Trees lands, known for the ancient archaeological & UNESCO world heritage sites related to the early Byzantine era and listed as one of the Dead Cities.

Aleppo is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, where the civilization was born. The importance of Aleppo comes from its strategical location at one end of The Silk Road, which passed through Central Asia & Mesopotamia.

Aleppo Traditional Soap

The soap making industry is more than 1500 years old, it is 100% natural, vegan and traditionally hand-made; essentially made from pure Olive oil, Laurel oil & saponification materials which mixed, spread, cut and stamped manually. Then the soap bars to be arranged in pyramids or circular towers shape and kept to dry naturally for a period of nine months, and then it will be ready for use.

We produce traditional soap in several types according to the percentage of laurel oil in it (3%, 12%, 20%, and 35%). Mentioning some of this soap benefits: cleanses softly, hydrate and nourish the skin, rich in vitamin E, effective antioxidant, antifungals, calming and cooling all skin types.

    Natural cleaning elements, water soluble, attract dirt and grease; could be used as a laundry wash for those who care about using natural material (refreshing & long lasting clean clothes).

    We produce the Aleppo soap & Olive soap in noodles/chunks shapes to be used by a lot of companies and manufacturers for their own production of molded soaps.
